Benin, January 2018
Students, academic, and non academic staff of Benin's 4 universities embarked on a strike to protest payment and working conditions, as well as the right to strike, after the government attempted to abolish striking. This occurred at Université d’Abomey-Calavi, Université de Parakou, Université Polytechnique d’Abomey and Université des Sciences Agronomiques de Porto Novo.
